Thank You for Visiting Flourish
The help and information I have provided for you on this site is the product and overflow of 38 years in full-time pastoral ministry. It has been my personal experience and observation in the lives of people who called me their pastor, that when they were genuinely thriving, joyful and flourishing in their visible world, it was because, they were thriving and flourishing in their private unseen world. The Five Primary Roots of Flourishing Life are a representation of the private areas of our lives, which when under the Lordship of Christ result in abundant, joyful living. The Oak Tree is our example of the flourishing life. It has a massive root system under ground that supports the tree and branches above ground. When the root system underground is healthy and thriving, the tree flourishes above ground, producing shade for weary travelers, protection and an abundance of food, produces other trees, weathers the fiercest of storms, is unshakable and grows stronger through the season of life. This is a picture of the life God wants us all to enjoy. I have developed this website to assist anyone who desires to become like the Oak tree for the display of God's splender.
